The room had a great balcony. They have a wine bar. Just a short distance to hradcany.
-
Pleasant atmosphere, we definitely coming here again. Unique design.
-
Great hotel and very friendly staff. Very good location and near of all the major touristic places.
The bathroom, although it was ok, it was a little too small for a 5 star hotel. Not designed to have a shower at all but of course you can have a bath.

The staff are excellent and the building is beautiful.
-
Friendly and helpful reception. Comfortable and attractively furnished room. Outstanding spa treatments. Pleasant public rooms. Super cortyard for drinks. Quiet althouogh centrally and conveniently located.
Breakfast nice but expensive with service strangely offhand in contrast to service elsewhere in the hotel.
-
The Alchymist is a lovely luxury hotel with very attentive staff and beautiful decor that really suits the prague experience.
I chose not to use the spa as the services are really quite expensive.

From the welcoming smile to the opulance of the, to the location every thing was perfect. If you want to spoil your wife/partner this is the place.
-
quite near to tourist objects, and the free internet
definetely, the staff tricked us by giving us the room that is below what we pay. after we asked the next day, we got the room but unfairly we didnt offered any discount fot that 'mistake'

The hotel is gorgeous! The staff is extremely professional, extremely nice, and extremely helpful without being pretentious. Our room, the common rooms, and the spa are decorated lavishly and very well maintained (no dinges, scratches, chipped paint or dirt).
-
The location was perfect for us being first time visitors of Prague. The hotel itself was luxuxrious and the staff excellent.

Great location, beautiful building, nice/clean interior.
I do have experience in five-star hotels from all over the world. From my point of view a five-star hotel is the one, where you spend a lot and feel that you get value and especial experience in back. Compared to the local prices, be aware of the followings: they charge you 850 CZK for parking/night (equal to a 2-person lunch/dinner anywhere); a 0,3l draft beer at the hotel costs 90 CZK (which is <=20CZK everywhere in the city); they have a ~3x3m pool(?)/jacuzzi(?) which is small for beeing a pool and cold for beeing a jacuzzi; they are strongly pushing their choice of restaurants (guess, why), saying they want to save you from disappointments, while there are really great restaurants/pubs nearby and everywhere in city.
